For years, I struggled with body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and unhealthy habits to attain the "look" of a fitness instructor. Now I'm on a mission to disrupt the fitness industry and inspire joyful movement.

From a young age, I loved to dance but was told I didn’t have a “dancer’s body” and that it needed to be fixed--at any cost. At 16 years old, I taught my first fitness class. Over my decades in the industry, I was continually told that I didn’t have the “right” body. Never mind that my classes were so packed that there was barely room to move! Still, I struggled with disordered eating and body dysmorphia as a result of this messaging--and I know I’m not alone.

Today, I am a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned fitpro who aims to make fitness more inclusive, inspire joyful movement, and help fitpros practice body-neutrality.
